Henriked: This is not the first clue that the mother is alive and well; on Page 8 we can at least hear her yelling something at Vandi. :) (But yeah, this is the first time we actually see her walking around and talking in present day.) It's true, though, that we've not yet explained how she regained her health, but don't worry, we will get to that in another flashback eventually! :) And thanks for the nice words on the portrait - the not-so-mysterious artist will be revealed in the next update. ;)

I was kind of surprised to see Vandi`s mother in there being up and talking and I can`t find a page in which she is feeling better earlier, but maybe that`ll be explained. :) Awesome portrait, I wonder if it`s painted by Dores…

Jenny: Thanks! :) That actually is Vandi. The artist (who will be revealed next week… ;P) didn’t know what to do about the mother since the mother was somewhat comatose at the time when the portrait was made, so it was decided not to put her in the picture. But it must have been a pretty tough choice to make.
