this seems oddly familiar… oozy stuff sucking the life out of someone… maybe in a sci-fi horror film or something… maybe it was Creep Show… hmm… but that was black ooze… Hmmm.
And also, I wonder what those “lifeforms” are. What exactly are they trying to do? Sure, they’re sucking away her life but why? What is their objective? I guess we’ll find out soon. :P

Emily: Oh, god… your comment freaked me out so I had to go dig out my age old vhs copy of that particular Creep Show episode and watch it, and I was not happy to find out that yeah… there actually are some real similarities there. Unintentional, sure, but they’re still there. O_o Ugh! It must have lingered in the back of my mind for 20+ years… I guess my dad really shouldn’t have let me watch that when I was a small child…
