Are they all doomed? Can they go home again after this? And what would they tell Elia’s mom if they did?
Everything in the strip has been telling us there’s something very bad going on here for quite a long time. It’s fascinating how steadily the events have been taken to here. We’ve been sucked in to believing it’s mostly peaceful, the same way as the girls have, even though we can see the whole picture and they can’t. Loving it.
I think Elia will reconstitute somehow. I can’t believe she is permanently gone.
