I really love this comic, but I take serious issue with this page. Vandi is not in any way at fault. She did her best to convince them to leave. Elia and Dores whined, guilt-tripped, and bullied her into staying. Maritza is right: had Vandi left without them (because I don’t think she could have succeeded in convincing them without getting outside help), the same thing would have happened, if not worse. It bothers me that Vandi just takes blame onto herself and that Dores lets her. I believe that sometimes a person has the right to say “I bloody told you so!”

I don’t consider Vandi responsible for this. She repeatedly asked her friends to leave that wicked place and go home. They guilt-tripped her into staying. Had she left, the result would have probably been the same.
