A completely believable conversation by people in an unbelievable situation. I love how you show their minds going back and forth, trying to come to terms with their loss, the frigging HOLE left by this horror… Very well done.
I think I said this before, but how are they going to explain this? That she got lost? But then her mom would go through the pain of thinking she could come back. That she fell? How suspicious would that be?
She doesn’t look very ok to me!
The only believable thing for her current situation would be “she caught fire”. I wouldn’t get her back if I were them. Just burry her quietly somewhere around and say she was eaten or something.
I just want to know what exactly happened I mean.. SOMEone would have to know what that other world was and why the eggs and how the eggs make life energy stealing yolks.. Its hard to be sad with so little explanation for anything happening…
Gahhh I agree! I have no idea where this is going, which makes me want to see more right away!! I mean, what’s going to happen with the egg-monsters? Will they become a new Elia? Will they be able to escape this world at all? What will become of her ashes if they bring her back outside? She only turned when they brought her back to the tower… And what about the shadow creatures? Will Elia be a shadow now? What happened in the past that is making all these weird things happen now? Its too interesting!!!
I suggest a broom and a dustpan :)

I -love- the shiny golden eggs. They’re teases.
I like the way the panels are set up. Not straight squares, but jagged. Portrays their emotions more than the organized boxes do. :D
