What Birds Know

Taking a bath in the eerie pond in the evil evil forest with the creepy forest-dwellers and the mind-snapping brainwash-inducing aura does not strike me as the best idea.
I think the idea that they have Elia`s ash on them is more frightening and horrific than the eerie pool. Poor girls, I still can`t believe Elia is gone. :(
kschenke, you are just excited like, me cuz this story is so good! If it wasn’t being stretched out then it would be over in 5 minutes and the story wouldn’t have had time to be properly developed. I hate waiting too! I hope the story keeps on going for a long time. :)
I’m thinking practically the same thing. I think it’s been too far into the plot for her to just be fodder to continue on the story.
Though this story has thrown so many curve balls at me that I have no idea exactly how they’ll get her back. Right now I think about the illusions/ shadow people/ weird imaginary only-in-your-mind people.
And then I wonder about the golden eggs. Surely they are not harmless now? Even though it seems that Elia’s death seems as the payment for such money, what if it was just a penalty for entering the forest and making the eggs?
It’s a beautifull story, In a couple of hours, I read it all and I loved it. It has a deep Characterdevelopment. They are friends, but they know not everything from eachother. Everyone has a history of friendship, love, but also rejectment and loss. I absolutely adored it. Keep the good work.:)

I know why you’re doing it, but do you have to stretch this out SO much? I want to know what’s going to happen!!!!

This is probably just wishful thinking, but what if Elia isn’t dead. It seems that anything could happen in this weird place they’re in.

Betsy & U-V – yes, anything can happen, which is why I think it most likely Elia, though a main character, is dead; literally Dust in the Wind.
